Anne Troensegaardille took home the gold PDF Print

The competition for the Dressage Scandinavian individual medals was tight as expected. The Dane Anne Troensegaard took part in her first international show, and won the gold with a beautiful Kür program with the 13 years old Seduc.

- His best qualities are the collected gaits, the winner says.

She has had the horse since it was four, and has worked very hard to get this far.

- I´m a little bit stubborn, I don´t have much money and I always knew Seduc is a good horse. And I also wanted to prove everyone, explains Troensegaard the motives for working for almost ten years with the sensitive and difficult horse.

- Everybody said oh, shoot him or eat him. Today I had the best ride ever, the happy winner says.

The team gold medallist Charlotte Haid Bondergaard took the silver as planed.

- I said to my husband last night at dinner that today I will ride for the silver. Last year I won bronze and next year I will win the gold, Haid Bondergaard laughs.

She finished the kür with 68,900 procent. Young Helene Melsen from Denmark took the bronze with Akeem.

- I am glad, surprised and happy. This is my biggest success so far, the 23 years old rider says.
