Italian Giovanni Consorti won the Bastioni Grand Prix with Cocodrillo with a fast and clear second round. Ten riders went into the second round but only two riders had a clear first round.

- I started pretty early in the second round so I had to take a risk, Consorti said.

His final result was 4 faults in 46.78. Henk van de Pol was left second with Kirfa de Kreisker in 47.46 seconds.

- I´m happy with the result, althought I thought it would be easy to win, and I slowed down too much, van de Pol commented.

Piet Raymakers Jr. came third with Van Schijndels´s Valentino in 48.57 seconds.

- My horse is not the fastest but he is careful, so I went for the safe clear.

The FEI Nations Cup of Finland starts at 15 o´clock tomorrow. The starting oder is Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Norway, Italy and Finland.
