The Swedish Dressage rider Minna Telde rode like a star in the Tapiola International Dressage Freestyle Final with her promising Deinhardt. It was the horse’s first ever Kür, and the couple won the class with 73 percent.

The Finnish crowd was extatic when Anna-Julia Kontio crossed the finish line with Rio Nuevo in 48.07 seconds. It meant that she took the first home victory in this year’s UB Horse Show. Young Kontio, 20 beat the two speed specialists, Jur Vrieling and Ben Maher, with a very small margin.

The Amateur Tour Final with the Top 10 riders are:

Leopold van Asten swept into victory in Helsinki Trophy presented by Sonera with VDL Groep Amelia, a 12-year-old danish mare. Van Asten was only 0,1 seconds faster than Steve Guerdat with  Jalisca Solier. Both riders went under 60 seconds in the very fast 145 speed class. The Oslo Rolex FEI World Cup Qualifier winner Pius Schwizer came third with Ulysse in 60.66 seconds. Nina Fagerström rode a good round with Mouse in 61.72, and was placed 6^th among 43 starters.

International 3* dressage started on Thursday with the Grand Prix. The victory was claimed by Aat van Essen and Premier, with 68.489 percent.
