International 3* dressage started on Thursday with the Grand Prix. The victory was claimed by Aat van Essen and Premier, with 68.489 percent.

"From the beginning the horse was alive and really sensitive. I haven’t been to Hartwall Arena before, and I was astonished to see how close the audience was. I am happy with my riding and the horse seemed satisfied too. I had two big mistakes in canter when the horse became too tense." van Essen commented after his ride.

The three next places went to Sweden. The second was Minna Telde - Deinhart (66.787), the third Jeanna Hogberg - Liza Minelli (65.787), the fourth Einar Kristoffersen - Montesse (64.638) and the fifth Alexandra Malmström - MD Waterford (64.511).
